Kyra's here to tell us about another great indoor play area! Read on!

I’m always on the lookout for indoor play areas for my kiddos. They’re perfect for hot summer days or cold winter days and basically any other day that we’re needing to get out of the house and burn off some energy. It’s even better if I can find an indoor play area that is totally free in cost which is why we love the new play area at The Shops at South Town in Sandy!

The play area is on the second level near the food court. 

While the play area itself isn’t very large it’s a great size for younger kiddos (it’s intended for ages 2-5) with lots of features to keep them entertained.

They have a slide, puzzles, bright colors, tunnels and more.

They offer seating within or without the play area for adults and a brightly colored fence depicting some of our favorite Utah landscapes surrounds the area.

The Shops at South Town also offers an interactive gaming wall near the food court and a Kids Club every 3rd Thursday of each month from 10-11 at the Fountain Court which is right below the play area. Kids Club is a free activity that offers story-time, crafts, balloons, a live DJ and other seasonal activities.

In addition to the play area, on the second level near the food court they also have an awesome family lounge which offers family bathrooms (with kid-sized restrooms), changing areas and a nursing area. 

It’s one of the best family areas I’ve seen in a public place.
