Dreamy winter getaway at DEER CREEK RANCH HOUSE - Wallsburg, UT

We are always on the search for the most unique experiences and staycation ideas and we have an awesome one to share with you today! We just discovered the sleepy little mountain town of Wallsburg, UT. Have you been? We had such an amazing experience, the kids didn't want to leave. Obviously they didn't want to go home the last day, thats a given. But they didn't want to leave to go do anything else during our stay. And you know, we usually just "sleep" at vacation rentals because we are out exploring non stop, but this little ranch house

Scratch-off MAP - UTAH COUNTIES

We have a family goal to visit ALL of the Counties in Utah! And we are obsessed with our County Scratch-off Map! After visiting each new county, we scratch it off and get one step closer to our goal. Can't wait to finish it! Check out our Salt Project Shop. They make a great gift idea too. And, as it hangs on our wall, we are reminded of all the fun memories we have made over the years staycationing all over our home state and visiting so many incredible places. You can start this tradition with your family too! It's

Spring City TRAVEL GUIDE

Oh, Spring City. We visited on a whim last year and fell in love! The people in this community were so loving and welcoming during the pandemic last year. Well, our kids COULD NOT wait to go back this year again. And... the people, you guys, I could cry. They were just the best. The town is quaint, the beautiful Spring Farm air bnb is so charming, we really could just live here. Of course we had to do some of the same stuff we did last year during our visit, but we also added a few new adventures this

ARCHES National Park - WITH KIDS - MOAB

Can you believe I own the Salt Project and have never explored Arches! True story. We drove through on our way from Texas to Utah probably 9 years ago, and thats it. We had our dog so we couldn't hike, so we just held our dog and walked out to the Delicate Arch look out (5 minute walk). So boring. I know. Heres the thing. I didn't start this blog because I have been everywhere and was an expert. Quite the opposite actually. I grew up in a home where going to McDonalds was a big deal and I can

Indian Ladder - Moab

Our friends took us to this awesome climbing area in Moab. The front is covered in pictographs. It's called the Indian Ladder, but I don't think it's been around that long. The ladder is made up of smooth logs that have been jammed into the cracks in the rock. All the kids lined up for their turn up. The first ladder is low enough for anyone to climb up, but the next ladder is quite the stretch. I'm guessing its 6ft up. I could reach it on my tippy toes, but didn't have enough upper body strength to do a

Lava Hot Springs Couples Trip - ROAD TRIPPIN'

Road Trippin' to IDAHO for the weekend! This was the perfect winter vacation. Our first time to LAVA HOT SPRINGS was awesome! We went on a couples trip with friends. We soaked, earthed, laughed, sang karaoke, played games, explored the charming downtown area, and stayed in the cutest little Air BnB on trout farm with wild turkeys roaming the grounds. It was the perfect weekend! This is our little airbnb. It was so charming! We had 8 couples, so it was nice to have a place that we could all share with a kitchen and laundry. Did I mention the

7 Magic Mountain - Las Vegas Nevada

Our first stop on our girls trip to Tahiti Village in Las Vegas, Nevada was stopping to hike the Crack in St. George. After arriving in Vegas, our next item was visiting the 7 Magic Mountains. The Crack is very narrow, but SO fun to hike. It only takes about 15 minutes to get up and back. Check out a full hiking guide HERE. And no road trip is complete without stopping in Beaver for a photo in the rocking chair. 7 Magic Mountains is such a fun spot in Vegas. Its easy to get to, just follow the road

Tahiti Village - Discount Code

Last year I took my first girls trip in 12 years (without a nursing baby). It was AMAZING! And one of you commented and gave me the best advice. You should take 3 trips each year. 1 with the fam, 1 with your significant other, and 1 with the girls. I thought it was the best advise. As a mom, I put my kids and work first, and always tend to put off "me time". But having a trip to look forward to, especially during a pandemic, is like Christmas! We had this trip planned for October before the craziness
