We first happened upon Utah Olympic Park last summer HERE. It was epic and the kids loved it! But it was our first time and we learned a lot! Check out that link for all the tips. We also have a breakdown of all the activities and what the age and weight limit is so be sure to check it out before you plan a visit. This time around we knew exactly what we were doing AND we could not have picked a better day to go! The only drawback of going in the fall is that the Alpine Slide

Utah Olympic Park | Free Things to do | Adventurin'

We've always heard about the amazing Extreme Zipline, Alpine Slide, Summer Tubing, Comet Bobsled and Adventure Courses up at Utah's Olympic Park, but until we finally went there last week we never realized all the fun, FREE, family activities there are as well. In fact I honestly think you could spend most of a day there exploring without spending a dime. Here are some of the things we found: Watch and Help Pull Tubes There are three separate summer tubing hills that our little ones got a kick out of just watching people participate in. At the smaller kiddie hill

Utah Olympic Park | Overview | Adventurin'

Its summertime in Utah, we are constantly on the lookout for fun things to get out and do with the kids that will allow us to enjoy the outdoors. With the summer Olympics coming up in just a couple weeks, we decided it would be fun to explore Utah's Olympic Park and were thrilled when they agreed to host us up in Park City with all our kids (ages 6 weeks to 11 years). So 3 adults, 11 children and acres of open land and adventures activities to explore. Needless to say we had quite the experience and learned quite

Utah Olympic Park | Toddler Style | Adventurin'

When we went to Utah's Olympic Park we had 3 moms and all our kids with us. We arrived in town just before closing the night before and were able to check things out and quickly realized that there was nothing the really little ones under the age of 3 could do other than the free stuff. It would be best to just not even bring them if you want to be able to participate yourself and if that is an option for your family. Thus when we returned the next day to explore all the attractions we ended up

Utah Olympic Park | Kids 5 to 10 yrs | Adventurin' 1

We weren't quite sure what to expect when we took all of our kids up to Park City to explore Utah's Olympic Park, but each of them found something fun to participate in and left with some amazing memories. Kids under 5 can really only do the Alpine Slide as a passenger with someone over age 13 riding with them. See our post here for all the details about navigating the park with toddlers. 5-years-old seemed to be the magic age when they could really start to participate in things and we had one little guy that was turning 5

Utah Olympic Park | 100 Pounds and up | Adventurin'

When we went to explore Utah's Olympic Park we had all of our 11 kids with us, ranging in ages from newborn to 11-years-old. We ended up splitting up into groups and the toddlers played mostly on the free stuff, while the bigger kids got to do more of the activities. However, none of our kids were big enough to do all the attractions at the park. To participate in the extreme zipline you have to weigh at least 100 pounds. None of our kids did, and honestly we have small children, they probably won't until they are in high
