What Makes Conestoga Ranch so Magical harm Mon, 05/21/2018 - 16:32
Today, I woke up in my own bed and found myself a little upset that a truck was roaring up the road at 6:15 in the morning. Then, the dog needed to go out and then proceeded to bark for 20 minutes, then baby woke up... Let’s go back to two days ago, when my little family woke up in a wagon at Conestoga Ranch. All was quiet, serene and nearly perfect. Magic. Pure Magic. While Stephanie and her family have stayed at Conestoga Ranch before, this was my first time.My husband and I have been talking extensively about what

List of Winter Businesses in Bear Lake

Ever wonder what one does during the winter in Bear Lake? While, it's true, most of the favorite stuff to do is in the summer, winter in Bear Lake should not be forgotten. There's something about hunkering down in a cabin, with a fire, gazing out the window at the frozen Bear Lake. Or maybe you are super adventurous and go snowmobiling, snowshoeing or even ice fishing. Either way, let it me known, there is more to Bear Lake than just swimming and boating. Below is a list of the businesses that are ACTUALLY open in the winter. (I'm sure

Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Naples Vernal

This isn’t sponsored by any means. I was super impressed with the service so I’d thought I’d tell you about it. I just now realized that this hotel is just outside of Vernal, so technically it's in Naples. So, whenever we travel, my husband is usually the one who likes to book the hotels, flights and car stuff. He loves to do it and I’m not about to take over his job. This time though, he wasn’t coming with us, so I had to book everything myself. Now, I know in this digital world it’s easy right? Wrong. Somehow, I

Yurt Camping with kids in Winter!

Everyone meet Becca! She's hear to tell us about Yurts, camping in the winter and cross country skiing with kids! When I tell people that we are going on a yurt trip, I usually get the response, “What’s a yurt?” Then I excitedly tell them, a yurt is like a tent-cabin hybrid and also the key to back-country awesomeness. Yurts actually originate from Mongolia and surrounding countries and are used by nomads. Luckily we do not have to travel quite so far to enjoy the comforts of these round back-country forts. The Bear River Outdoor Recreation Alliance or B.R.O.R.A maintains

Zermatt Resort in the Winter

Winter in Midway and Heber City is pretty magical! Right before Christmas we headed to The Zermatt Resort for a little staycation. We visited the Elfz Academy. This was Zermatt's first year hosting the academy. Each kid received a map with different things to go check off. They had to learn how to wrap presents and make toys, build a snowman, and they got to ride on Utah’s ONLY Christmas themed flight simulator ride to The North Pole. We went to snow school and we even got to take a ride on the Elf Express. All of Santas helpers were
