Cedar City Aquatics Center harm Tue, 01/08/2019 - 14:28
We've been to Cedar City many times over our 13 years of marriage. My husband is from Cedar City and we both went to school at SUU, so we love coming to visit. But how many times have we been swimming in a pool in Cedar City? Not once. That's because for many years there wasn't a public pool...there was an old one, that was quite shady and had seen better times, but it was ripped down. There is a pool at the college, but we haven't been there since college. Now though? Cedar City has quite the state of

It's no secret that summers in Southern Utah are hot. Knowing the best spots to escape the heat is essential to survival and Veyo Pool and Crawdad Canyon is one of those spots. Surrounded by towering jagged basalt rock and a shady stream filled with catch and release crawdads, Veyo Pool and Crawdad Canyon is the perfect summer destination with your family. And did I mention that it is typically

And did you know there's an outdoor swimming pool there? It's pretty great. First of all, Murray Park is a gem in and of itself. It houses the Park Center (Murray's recreation center, complete with indoor swimming pool, basketball courts, pickleball courts, fitness equipment, and other

New Fun at the Lindon Aquatics Center

It's been hovering around the 100 degrees mark here in Utah County for the last week. So naturally we are seeking out anyway to be near water that we can. The Lindon Aquatics Center has been one of our family favorites for years and we hadn’t been yet this summer so we headed that way as the temperatures soared last week. We were so happily surprised to see some new features added to our favorite public pool. This year they have a small wibit system. If you aren’t sure what that is (I didn’t know that word either) its a

South Davis Recreation Center | Bountiful | Adventurin'

With the start of summer we made a trip down to the South Davis Rec Center to let the kids swim and play in their outdoor splash area. Every time we go to the Bountiful park they see that fun pirate ship play area and ask to go, so we finally obliged and took them to explore. Swimming They loved it! The water around the ship was shallow enough that the toddlers could run around and feel like they were swimming. (I did put ‘floaties’ on my little ones, just in case they ventured too far or slipped, but for
