Monica just sent these photos last night! Pick your own cherries at Stanton Cherries in Payson! Nothing is better than fresh cherries and nothing is more fun than picking your own! Monica spent two hours with her kids picking cherries. It may be hot outside, but these are worth it! Stanton's Cherries has Bing, Lambert and Rainier variety. My family and I just got done pitting three 5 gallon buckets full of cherries (that we scavenged from a neighbor.) I've been pitting, then freezing cherries for years. This year I just dehydrated some cherries for the first time too! Pitting

Grotto Falls | Adventurin'

We read about a cool, short hike that would be perfect to take the kids on down in Utah county, near Payson. It had a waterfall, tons of bridges, a grotto (a cavern-like recess—I had to look that one up :), was fairly well shaded and was only about a half a mile, round trip. Literally the perfect hike for a mom alone with 4 small children, or so I thought. Apparently every other human in the entire area had the same thought though, because despite going in the middle of the day on a Friday, it was PACKED! Crowded
