Big Rock Adventure Lazy River Float | 12 Utah Staycations

Floating the Sevier River...who knew it could be SUCH a dream! Big Rock Adventures in Marysvale have a "Lazy River Float" that's for ANYONE and ANY Age! Our kids LOVED IT! The river is slow and easy in some portions and then provides just enough excitment for even the adults. You show up and sign the waivers, grab a life jacket and then Big Rock Adventures drops you off with tubes and rafts. They told us we had 1.5 hours to float and they would meet us at the end. Most of the time, Stephanie's kids floated in the actual

Big Rock Grill & Smokehouse | 12 Utah Staycations

Big Rock Candy Mountain Resort has a cafe that's RIGHT next to the actual Big Rock Candy Mountain. You may know the song...if you don't, listen to it here! After soaking in two different hot springs in Monroe, jumping in the river and having ice cream, we headed down to Big Rock Candy Mountain to fuel up before our next adveture! It's always a tricky balance having 13 kids under 14 in one place, especailly when going out to eat. Big Rock Adventure | 12 Utah Staycations

Big Rock Adventure is right along the Sevier River and right across the street from Big Rock Candy Cafe! After eating lunch we walked across the street to sign waivers, put on our closed-toe shoes and do some adventuring! While waiting for us to sign waivers, the kids played on the playground for a few minutes. Little did we know that we'd be doing some team-building exercises! Somehow, we were supposed to get all 14 of us across all these beams to the other side. We made a super valiant effort, even with Dan carrying baby wells on his back

Hoovers River Resort & Ice Cream | 12 Utah Staycations

Say hello to Hoover's River Resort in Marysvale Utah! This lovely resort is home to SOME delicious treats! We stopped in after soaking at TWO hot springs, Mystic, and Red Hills. Our awesome tour guide, Katelin, told us we needed to try the Dole Whips from Hoover's, we didn't say no. You can get a mix of vanilla and dole whip or do the fancy like Steph and get it on a cone with fruity pebbles! So good! Rizden voted for the bubble gum! Behind Hoover's (this is their private resort and we did ask for permission.) is their awesome

Off-Roading through Marysvale with Piute ATV Rentals

How many of you knew that Marysvale is Nationally known for their 2,200 miles of ATV roads? We even played the license plate game. You know, the one where you try and find all the states? There were plates from Connecticut and Michigan, basically, almost anywhere except Utah. It's kind of crazy to think that people from clear across the country come to a tiny town that most Utahns have never even heard about. It seems that no where was quite as busy as Lizzie and Charlie's RV/Campground! I mentioned all the different things to do in Marysvale in a
