Prepping for Winter | Utah Libraries

We know, it's been super quiet for a few weeks. I think it's the quiet before the calm. Stephanie is about to have baby number 5 (or maybe he/she is already here?!) and we are recovering from sickness, because dang Halloween. Then I just realized it's like, November 8TH! We've been hiking almost every week and now what am I going to do in Winter?! I'm hoping since my kids are a tiny bit older (3 &5) that we can get some winter hikes done. So here's one of our winter staples. We go to the library. WAY more than

Columbus Library | Salt Lake City

Is anyone else starting to get a little stir crazy at their house? Winter in Utah does this to me every year. We get a couple of really nice spring days and I start to get really excited. I plan some fun trips to get us out of the house and then we get another snowstorm that ruins all of my plans. My husband and I had the opportunity of touring the library firsthand before the grand opening, and I can assure you, it is a beautiful, stunning, and well-thought-out piece of architecture. I can't wait for the grand opening to start taking my kids to story time and more at this awesome new library branch! The murals were painted by 1,000 different students! Murals are localed out on the

Aiko, Bennet and Orion here. We wanted to remind you parents out there about your local library. See, our mom had no idea that there was a whole world for us littles there. We sing, or sometimes just sit instead of standing with everyone else. Read stories. Mimic and watch everyone around us. Get cool hand stamps each week. Plus, the library always has fun activities for us to take home. We don't know about you guys out there, but OUR library has all these toys to play with! Some toys we can check out ourselves (since our mom got
