This Covid-19 quarantine mandate has taken some getting used to. But one thing we have put at the top of our priority list has been spending time outside everyday rain or shine. Luckily it has been more shine these last few weeks. One of our favorite outdoor activities, while practicing social distancing is riding bikes. Ask my kids, their favorite of all the bikes in our garage is definitely our Woom Bikes. They are light weight and high quality. This little Woom 2 Bike is on its 2nd kid, and soon to be it's third! And it is still going
Hobb's Pond Hike in Layton harm Wed, 10/09/2019 - 21:42
Hello NEW HIKE IN LAYTON! Best Part? It's right in our stomping grounds! Layton's new trail at Hobb's Pond is freaking amazing! It's about 2.4 miles and can be done in a loop. Half of it is a new dirt trail and the other half is the paved trail of Kays Creek. Stephanie and Locke were out exploring at Hobb's Pond on the Kays Creek Trail and happened upon this new trail! Naturally, they had to follow it. They could NOT believe it! The hike was SO awesome that they decided to do it again the next day with the
Cherry Hill! It's been around for over 50 years! What started out as a farm, then a place to camp and then a theme park has become quite the Davis County Icon. We're super excited to team up with Play in Davis to giveaway a whole Staycation + tickets to Cherry Hill! One of the best parts about Cherry Hill is that there is a spot for everyone to have fun! We took turnes going on the tube rides (without the kids) because we loved it! Even the adults have things to do. My husband kept saying how we had
On our way out to Antelope Island State Park, we saw the strangest thing... Angry Birds and Crazy Pigs! We've actually driven past these for years and finally stopped. The kids thought they were hilarious!

We're going to start things off with Utah's most iconic thing; The Great Salt Lake! It's actually been a while since the Salt Project has visited the Great Salt Lake in the summer. Because that summer Utah heat is brutal. Sometimes those biting gnats are so awful, but lucky for us, they apparently are gone for now! (We totally checked before visiting.) First things first, FOOD. We did take-out from The Bird in

Ok, I just want to start by saying that when we find a local business that we love, we want to support them. We received amazing results from Soli Wellness and wanted to share our experience here for you. I also shared it (as I was going through everything) on our social media. There were a lot of people that said Chiropractors were the way to go, others said P.T., after talking to Dr. Randy he said it really just depends on whats wrong, some times you need one or the other, sometimes both and they can help you figure
Braces 101 steph Tue, 03/06/2018 - 22:57
You've never had braces before? You don't know what to expect? We recorded the whole process from beginning to end for you! Things we learned: -It was faster than we expected, in and out in less than an hour. -No pain! Breckyn was nervous that it would hurt a little but it didn't at all. -We were surprised how fast they worked. We are approaching the year mark and her teeth look amazing, but we saw results within the first 6 weeks! -Affordable! Dr Cameron has a payment plan for any budget. -Start them young. We didn't realize that the
Today we got over 5 inches of snow so we decided to pile in the car and get a treat. Johnny O's Spudnuts have been our kids favorite donut shop since they opened last fall. If you have never had a spudnut, you are in for a real treat. It's basically a donut made with potato flour. They are SO good! I came in a few weeks ago for an apple fritter but they only had raspberry fritters so I decided to try one. Oh My Goodness! They are my new fave. They also have a spudnut of the week

Reads bonus baby #5 was our highlight of 2017! I have had 5 births, with 5 different Doctors in 4 hospitals and 2 states. I've had 1 unmedicated birth and 4 inductions with empidurlas. After or horifying experience with my last birth (I'll spare you the details), I finally found an incredible midwife Cathy Mark. I love her more than any other Dr I've had, I'm just sad I didn't find her sooner. There is nothing quite like being surrounded by strong women and a supportive husband as you go through labor and birth. As a birth photographer (yes, my
