When I realized that we would be close to Arika (from Zion Adventure Photog) when visiting Cable Mountain Lodge, I knew that family photos needed to happen! Arika is my favorite Southern Utah Photographer (dare I say favorite in general?) I was super excited to have Stephanie meet Arika in person too. Stephanie and I planned to have Arika take pretty casual photos. I wanted to have some photos that shows us pretty much how we are, dressed as we are, stains and all. I loved how they turned out. Red Reef Hike | Southern Utah

This is such a beautiful hike. Last time we went we turned around right before the best part (we were on a time crunch) so I was determined to make it to the end this time around. There are several hikes in the Red Cliffs State Park. This one is called Red Reef. After the pay station, follow the road back. You will see parking spots, camping spots, and a bridge. Do you ever feel like you need a vacation from your vacation?! We took a week and headed down to Southern Utah and ended up doing just that. The first half of the week we stayed with family in Cedar City and enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving feast. We were able to visit with relatives, play games, laugh together, watch movies, go bowling, cook together, eat together and just had the best time catching up with cousins, aunts and uncles.
