Ogden Hot Springs - Adventurin'

I thought the Ogden Hot Pots closed years ago and everything ripped down. A google search says that "someone suggested these are closed". A couple weeks ago I decided to go exploring to see for myself. I was shocked to find people soaking and all of the Hot Pots still there! There was no sign that they were closed or that it was private property, so I brought my kids to explore. We had the place to ourselves other than one fisherman. The water was great and all the pools are different temps. I will say, the first day I

Meadow Hot Springs

When 2 photographers wake up at 3am, hit the road by 3:30am, drive 3 hrs south to arrive at 6:30am, just in time to catch the sunrise at Meadow Hot Springs, then jump in the car and drive home... well, that was the plan. We made a slight detour to hit another hot spring and ended up crashing a nudist colony! You can find that story HERE. Not my typical educational post. You can find a Full Hot Springs Guide HERE. Just wanted to share the beautiful moody images we captured. Sunrise. Just two gals, exploring with no kiddos. And

Bakers Hot Spring

While visiting Meadow Hot Springs down the street (ish) we met someone that told us about these hot springs! He said it was basically "on the way home". Also it's totally out of the way in the middle of nowhere. It's all relative right? Yes, it was north, and on our way home, but we had to make quite the detour into the west dessert to get there. HIGHLY RECOMMEND by the way. We pull up and immediately a man in a robe approaches our vehicle. I figured he thought we were lost and looking for the hot springs and

Saratoga Hot Springs | 12 Utah Staycations

The first time I heard about these hot springs was last Oct 2018. I was participating in the Questival Race and one of our challenges was to jump into a natural hot spring. It was late, dark, and FREEZING! We parked, changed into swimmers, ran down the path in the dark, had no idea what we were jumping into, stayed for a minute and then ran back to the car so we could compete another challenge. I wasn't planning on visiting again in October, but this time we were equip with light so we could actually see what we were

Bonneville Seabase | 12 Utah Staycations

Did you know that you can Scuba Dive or Snorkel in the middle of Utah's Desert at a place called Bonneville Seabase?! NEITHER DID WE? As we drove around the Great Salt Lake, visited the Sun Tunnels, ate at a buffet in Wendover and drove through the Bonneville Salt Flats, I realized we didn't have anywhere to stay for the night. While searching for RV spots to camp I found this listing and I was like "I don't care how much it is, we are staying the night at Bonneville Seabase!" Luckily, it wasn't expensive. It was like $5 to

Meadow Hot Springs Spot 2 | 12 Utah Staycations

After visiting U-Dig Fossils in Delta, Steph's fam headed one way and we headed another! Another perk of RV Trips! You can go wherever you want! Stephanie visited Meadow Hot Springs the day before and we visited the next day. The last time I visited Meadow Hot Springs was in February 2016! Goodness, it's been too long! The first spring is always busy. The kids loved wandering around the edges and playing on the mossy rocks. Don't forget floaties for the kids. How funny is the toilet inflatable? Ha, we thought it was a spaceship, but come to find out

Meadow Hot Springs | 12 Utah Staycations

Another bucket list item that has been a long time coming, Meadow Hot Springs! Check out our original post HERE for ALL the info. RVing to hot springs is my new favorite thing. It was so nice to be able to have a warm place to go and change after swimming. Harmony's post led us straight to the spot! There are 2 pools but the one with the dock is cooler, and since it was pretty cold we decided to stay put. These springs are pretty deep, so you definitely want floaters for littles. You can stand around the edges
Crystal Hot Springs | 12 Utah Staycations harm Tue, 09/10/2019 - 20:36
We closed out our Brigham City Staycation with a good old trip to Crystal Hot Springs in Honeyville Utah! We've been coming to Crystal Hot Springs for years now and we LOVE it! Crystal Hot Springs has recently made some changes to their resort too! There's a whole new cave area with a shallow pool. Our kids spend the majority of the time here. Don't forget about the giant tube slides! Our kids LOVE the slides! The slides are open all year round and even in the winter it's super fun. Be sure to bring some water as the Hot

Red Hills Hot Springs | 12 Utah Staycations

Right after visiting Mystic Hot Springs we were told there was another hot spring nearby and this one was FREE! While Mystic Hot Springs is beautiful, one can't pass up a free hot spring! I was actually very surprised by this sign. Many hot springs are trashy and not well kept, but this one, this lovely community hot spring was obviously well cared for. There was a grill, a firepit, a swinging chair and hardly ANY trash on the ground. Please, PLEASE keep it clean for everyone! The kids could have spent HOURS here. They loved being able to divert
