Pack Farms Pumpkin Patch

This was our first time to Pack Pumpkin Patch in Farmington. My sister was going with her fam and invited us along. We love trying out new places so we were excited to try it out. There are 2 Parts to Packs Pumpkin Patch. The actual patch is FREE, and the side with the games and fun activities. We will take you on a little tour and let you know what each side has to offer. Right Side This side of the patch is for both kids and adults. This is Pack Farms FIRST year offering all this fun stuff
Little Haunts at This is the Place Heritage Park harm Fri, 10/21/2016 - 10:02
The moment the air becomes crisp and the leaves begin to fall we get excited because it means Halloween is just around the corner. I have yet to meet a child that doesn’t love getting dressed up and while parading around the neighborhood collecting more candy than their little eyes could ever dream of. It’s simply why not start the celebrations early by heading to Halloween Haunts hosted by This is the Place. We’ve always loved this is the place but it becomes extra special during their Halloween Hoots. There are all the usual activities to look forward to
Black Island Farms | Pumpkin Patch harm Wed, 10/12/2016 - 21:13
Black Island Farms is one of our favorite Pumpkin Patches in Northern Utah and we'll tell you why! (See our past post here.) Corn maze, corn pit, pig races, slides, slides, slides, hay bales, train ride, animals, tractor ride, music, lights, oh, and our favorite, you can pick any pumpkin you want on the tractor ride. Even if you can't carry it. They have people for that. You pick it. They cut it, and carry it back to the tailor. The kids LOVED it! Black Island Farms also has a scary corn maze. As we were leaving, the older kids

Sundance Mountain Resort ZipTour

Sundance has opened their Zip Tour for 1 last go for Halloween before they close for the season. I'm obsessed with zip lining, although it scares me to death. Like I was freaking out! But YOLO! This specific Zip Tour only runs at night. Pretty awesome if you ask me. Its pitch dark, its cold, its scary, and its absolutely amazing. We took the spooky Halloween Lift Ride up to the top where the Zip Tour starts. The staff was helpful and so fun to work with. They joked around and helped calm our nerves the best they could. We

Heber Valley Railroad | Pumpkin Train | Field Trippin'

I’d only heard about the Heber Creeper in the last few years, so I’ve been excited to take my babies to a good old train! My grandpa was a big train man, he even owned a model train shop in Iowa, so I have a deep love for trains. Aiko and Orion’s favorite book is all about trains, so I thought they’d be tickled to be on a real one. Man, I was not expecting something so picturesque. It’s quite the place. I’m a big Harry Potter fan and so of course I was feeling all Potter like. From the

Zermatt Resort | Staycations | Day 2

See our first impression of the Zermatt Resort here. How do your kids fair at sleeping while traveling? Sometimes mine are really good and just falling asleep and then this time not so much. While they were screaming for a good 30 minutes, I sat in their room, blasting Frozen Soundtrack and planning our next day in Midway. This is what I came up with: Breakfast at The Bakery at the Zermatt Feed the Goats/Walk the Resort Grounds/Ride the Carousel at the Zermatt Find Fairy Forest in the Uintah National Forest here. See Provo Falls on Mirror Lake Highway Ride

North Logan Pumpkin Walk | Adventurin'

If you're sick of visiting pumpkin patches and corn mazes, you might try taking a trip to Logan for its annual North Logan Pumpkin Walk. They’ve managed to create a Halloween tradition that’s festive and FREE. As a kid, I visited the North Logan Pumpkin Walk quite often. My aunt and grandma often made a scene for the walk and it was always so exciting to see what they could make with pumpkins. As an adult, I saw some impressive artistic skills and displays. As a kid, I saw magic. Seeing ordinary pumpkins transformed into my favorite characters was fascinating

Sundance Halloween Lift Ride

We bundled up warm and piled in the car to head to Sundance Mountain Resort. The kids have never been on a ski lift and we thought the night Halloween Lift Ride would be fun for them. Riz(4) fell asleep on the way. The activities run from 7-10 weekdays and 7-11 on weekends, so when we arrived it was dark and spooky. There were fire pits glowing, a scary movie playing, pumpkin bowling, face painting... It was all kind of magical. We have never been to a night Halloween activity and this was pretty awesome. It was cold, but the

5th Annual Ginormous Pumpkin Regatta | Adventurin'

We packed up the kids last weekend and headed to Sugar House to watch the 5th annual Giant Pumpkin Regatta. The website said the race started at 1, so we arrived at 12:45. Nothing was really happening when we got there so we asked around. Turns out they raced at 11. We missed it by a long shot. Sadly, we didn't see the race, but we did enjoy some awesome people watching and saw a few people paddling around in giant pumpkins. Oh, and we got a family photo on a Giant Pumpkin so there is that. Some of the
