Petersen Family Farm Pumpkin Patch

Petersen Family Farm is a local farm located just south of 114th and west of Bangerter Highway in Riverton. It’s a place we love to visit all year round but pumpkin patch season is definitely our favorite time to visit. The farm is so much fun that I feel I should warn you in advance, your kids will love it and you will love it and you will definitely want to come back again and again. The farm has an amazing pumpkin selection and half the fun is grabbing a wheelbarrow and browsing the many pumpkins and gourds available, trying

SOHO Food Park

Rhiannon wrote this forever ago...as you'll see by the sweaters! But never fear, this is a perfect summer spot too! It’s a permanent food truck park and if it’s not the only one in the city it was certainly the first. WE LOVE THIS PLACE. It is located at, 4747 Holladay Blvd E, Holladay, UT 84117. The food trucks vary from day-to-day and you can find a schedule on their facebook page. There is also a permanent shaved ice booth too that my kids look forward too whenever we come here. For us, nothing quite says “Warm Weather” or “Friday

Cross E Ranch is an old family farm in North Salt Lake. They are new to the scene as far as "baby animal days" and "pumpkin patches" go, but they have blown it out of the park! We were so impressed with both events, you would never guess that this was their first time pulling it off. Updated 2019 *Use Salt15 for 15% off ALL tickets! We are never one turn down an opportunity to hold baby animals and Cross E has THE BEST baby animal experience that we have been to. Hands down. They actually had Baby Animals, for

Slide the City | Salt Lake City

It. Was. Freaking. Amazing. We got there an hour early because we thought parking would be crazy and we didn't pick up our packets ahead of time like we were told too. Luckily, because we were early, it didn't matter that we drove to the wrong place to pick up our packets, plus we got a SWEET parking spot. Always go early friends, the parking gods will smile upon you. Anyways, we are about to show you a large amount of photos with lots of hot pink tubes. See, we signed up for the 9am-11am slot, thinking it would be

Triple D | Rickle's | Grubbin' | Kaysville

Hello! Let's talk about this sweet little spot in Kaysville called Rickle's! First of all, bravo to them! They are the first place we've come across that has a bunch of toys to keep the littles happy while waiting for food! Also, let's talk about the Honesty Jar. This totally has that ole' Mom and Pop feeling to it. So charming. So many Philly's, so many cheeses. Plenty of good food to go around. The kids loved their corn dogs or spaghetti meals! Be sure to try the homemade chips too! AMAZING! The portions were large and scrumptious. Many of

Cup Bop | Grubbin' | Layton

Steph here: The food truck round up was just down the street from us in Layton, off HWY 193 so my sibs and I met up for some grub. I checked the Facebook group to see what trucks were coming. When I saw CupBob would be there I was so excited! I follow them on IG and have wanted to try a bowl of Korean BBQ forever! Now was my chance. The lines were long, but fast. Best advice, go early, like, EARLY! 5pm people. We went at 6 and the lines were long. There were cars parked all the

Giveaway | Waffle Wagon | Kaysville | Grubbin'

We stopped by Waffle Wagon after the Castle Park because, food truck! Their truck travels around Davis county (soon to be weber county too!) and it was our lucky day that they were just down the Street in Kaysville and open! We basically tried one of everything! Riz(4yrs) loved the Rodeo, its a cinnamon roll disguised as a waffle. Locke(10yrs) and Breckyn(7yrs) had The Showdown and The Cowboy. They love all things fruit and whip creme like their momma. And lets not forget the Nutella and Biscoff! Dan was the only one to actually finish his waffle. The Liege waffles
