On Monday, my crazy sister asked if I wanted to run up to Porcupine Reservoir and check out the Salmon Run up there. We'd literally just done the Causey Salmon run two days before and I thought, WHY NOT?! So off we went. I called a friend and soon we had 3 adults and 4 kids under the age of three in our car. The Salmon Run this year in Utah has been kind of weird. 2019 has been full of rain, cold weather and then heat. I'm sure the salmon don't even know what to do anymore. We sure don't! I've actually had tried getting up to Causey Reservoir for the kokanee salmon run two different times and have been thawrted by cold, rainy weather. We FINALLY succeeded on Saturday! The Sleepy Hollow wagon ride has been on my list of things to do for a couple years now. I'm not a big fan of haunted houses and my crew is still a bit young for that sort of thing but we still wanted to do something spooky this year that the whole family could enjoy. Pumpkin Nights in Salt Lake City is open! Remember how we did a behind the scenes on our Stories? It was so fun to see all the different creations out and about. Cross E has become our family's favorite pumpkin patch since we moved back to Utah to raise our littles. We have been to A LOT! (check out our master list HERE). But Cross E just feels like home to us. It's family owned, there are random chickens and dogs wandering the farm.
