We just got back from the Christkindlmarkt in Salt Lake City! It's a Traditional German Christmas Market that makes you feel like your in Germany in a quaint village shopping. It's not too big, or too small, even though all of their animals were minis or babies. They have a petting zoo. Visits with Santa (we just happened to go when he wasn't there, but my kids prefer this.) Amazing little boutique shops. Delicious pastries, baked fresh that day. Megan from Candy Everything has shown us the light! She's here to tell you about Craft Lake City. Craft Lake City is the LARGEST DIY craft fair in Utah. There are over 200 vendors selling handmade items, vintage goods, and craft food. As well as entertainment, food trucks, a kids activity area, and an amazing science and technology section. I love that this is a festival that has something for everyone. One of the first years I went I spent forever in the science and technology building because I was so amazed by 3-D printing and robot sumo wrestling. This

I first met Megan at the Bijou Market last year as a vendor. Her display was amazing, all the bright colors totally drew me in. I think she was the first gal I was brave enough to ask if she wanted to trade, which, luckily, she did! I brought home some of her candy deer, and honestly, I never ate them, I have them as decoration in my house instead. They are that pretty! Of course, I chose orange. Isn't it stunning? The Salt Project was in Salt Lake City last week! We had just gone through The Leonardo Museum (it's mind blowing, check it out here.) and then headed over to the Salt Lake Library. The library itself it kind of spectacular. The architecture is unlike anything else in Utah. Before heading in, we sat the kids outside in the Amphitheater to eat lunch. Luckily, it was a slightly warmed day, almost in the 50s. (Hot dang right?) How cute are their little backpacks? We have some big plans for these bags that may or may not include an awesome giveaway
