The Pie Pizzeria | Grubbin' | Pi Day

Pi day is 3.14! If you go to The Pie Pizzeria on 3.14 you can get a voucher for a free pizza! (We've been the past couple years and I'm pretty sure it's a solid tradition.) We love to celebrate this day with the kids, they are still a little young to understand the mathematical reasoning completely, but they get the connections, circle, circumference, pie, pi. It's all coming together. After another explanation at dinner tonight my 6 year old said "Ya, but why are we eating pizza instead of pie?" Then we had to explain it all again. We

Aubergine & Company | Grubbin'

Date night! Our friends the Elmers were visiting Utah last week. We met them 11 years ago, back in Dallas when we lived there and have been friends ever since. We wanted to take them out for a night on the town and show them what Utah has to offer. I've been dying to try Aubergine and Company. Their food looks so good so we decided to go check them out for dinner. You order at the front of the line, then follow your food down and customize anything and everything. They have salads, pits, rice bowls, vegan, you name

A Good Life Cafe & Juice Bar | Grubbin'

Friends, it's hot and it seems like our summer diets consist of mainly watermelon and green smoothies. No one wants to cook, let alone turn on the blazing oven. Let us introduce you to one of Harmony's Favorite places to grab fresh, organic, local grub. A Good Life Cafe on 25th Street is amazing! They used to be in a small upstairs loft area, but have expanded and have their own place on 25th. We always get the Acai Bowls. This one is the Chunky Monkey. Even the littles love this. It's big enough for 3 adults to share as
Lucky Slice Pizza | Ogden Restaraunt Week | Grubbin' melinda Fri, 04/08/2016 - 01:28
Everyone we've talked to that has ever eaten at Lucky Slice Pizza in Ogden has raved about their delicious pizza, so we were excited when we were invited to try them out recently. We spent quite awhile ogling the menu before discovering that due to numerous requests they have now added calzones to their menu just in time for Ogden's Restaurant Week, and ended up trying them out. They were so good! They currently have three flavor options: a meat lovers, a chicken alfredo and a veggie option. The first combines pepperoni and sausage with mozzarella and ricotta cheeses baked

The Soap Factory | Field Trippin'

We really wanted to go down to Utah county and pick berries, but that’s a long drive for us for just berries, so I looked up a few other fun things to do around Provo and decided to make a day of it. One of the coolest places I saw was The Soap Factory. They started out as a small shop where you could make custom, all-natural soaps and have since expanded to include lotion, salt or sugar scrubs, fizzy bath balls, lip balm, gourmet chocolates, trail mix… basically tons of bath and gift items. The inner hippie in me
