Camping at the dunes with IMPORT MOTOR WERKS

After an eternal winter and record breaking snow fall, Easter weekend was forecast to bring more snow, so we headed west to the desert for some sunshine. Mid April and this was literally the first "warm" day for 2023. And by warm, I mean 60's. At this point we were just grateful to see the sun! Our camper was still buried under 4 ft of snow in our backyard, so we helped our friends break in their new bus, and crashed with them for the night. Whats 6 more people and a giant puppy? I'm sure they didn't even notice

Gunlock Falls - SOUTHERN UTAH BUCKETLIST

This is the best place to explore for all ages. There were babies in packs and toddlers climbing rocks, as well as many senior citizens out exploring. The path to the falls is clearly marked and short. About 5 minutes to the falls. You can see them great from the road too, if you just want to drive by. The path is soft sand, so be sure to wear good shoes. We recommend THESE so you're not walking around with your shoes full of sand. Plus, if your feet get wet, they will dry fast but still give you traction

Tubing the Weber River - Ogden Kayak Park - Adventurin'

Family Field trip Friday! Actually, I'm not sure what day it is because, summer! But I know its the first week of August which means there is only one acceptable activity, floating the river! We found this little spot when we were riding the Ogden Bike Path. And added it to our summer bucketlist. There are actually 2 spots that we found. This one, Ogden Kayak Park, and Riverdale Kayak Park. The Ogden park has 2 rivers, one larger one on the right with 3 slides, and a smaller one on the left that is faster and super bumpy (highly

Ogden Hot Springs - Adventurin'

I thought the Ogden Hot Pots closed years ago and everything ripped down. A google search says that "someone suggested these are closed". A couple weeks ago I decided to go exploring to see for myself. I was shocked to find people soaking and all of the Hot Pots still there! There was no sign that they were closed or that it was private property, so I brought my kids to explore. We had the place to ourselves other than one fisherman. The water was great and all the pools are different temps. I will say, the first day I

Beus Pond | Adventurin'

It was Free Fishing Day last week so we decided to try a new pond and bust out our dusty fishing poles that we use each year on this day. My kids have never been to Beus, and it's just a hidden gem. The pond is right next to the parking lot but everything is covered in tall trees and shrubs so it feels very secluded. The trail around the pond is very short and paved. There are dirt trail off shoots all around that go to a grassy field and park. And there is a small river that leads

Aspiration Trail Hike - St. George

Bring your painted rocks and walking shoes and enjoy a growing trail system! Did we mention it is hand-built! This is a kid friendly hike, easy enough for a 5 year. There are a few stairs, but other than that, it's a nice rock lined trail. I wasn't prepared for hiking on this girls trip, so I only had flip flops on and I was fine. I was so impressed by the magnitude of this project. There are miles of trail system, all lined In rocks! And on top of that, there are thousands of hand painted rocks of all
