Crazy Corn Maze in West Jordan

This was our first visit to the Crazy Corn Maze in West Jordan, and after going I think we're going to have to add it to our must do October activities! We went in the middle of the day on a Saturday and it wasn't overly busy that we were on top of people, but we did run in to some as we went through the maze. It was perfect for families, even little kids and strollers but I think it would be fun with a bunch of older kids or even for a date night (can I get a

Gardner Village Witch Fest and Six Hags

This was our first time to Witch Fest and Six Hags. It's been on my list of things to do here in Utah for years and I'm so glad we finally made it happen. Next time my kids want to dress up! Luckily they had a face painter, (she was amazing!). So the kids felt a little more festive. And let me just tell you, our face paint lasted through lunch, playing hard at Six Hags, dinner, play time with friends... It still looked perfect when it was time for bed. I even debated letting them sleep with it on

Veterans Memorial Park

We love spending warm and sunny days at Veteran’s Memorial Park, right off of Redwood Road and 7800 South in West Jordan. While the entire park is 100 acres and offers many play areas and pavilions our favorite place to play is at the Wild West Jordan Playground. This playground is so much fun and it’s huge! It covers nearly half an acre and reaches as high as 35 feet. My 3 year old, Liam, could spend all day climbing and exploring all that this playground has to offer. As the name suggests, the playground is western themed and is

The Chocolate | A Dessert Cafe | Grubbin'

I can't resist a good bakery, which is why I wanted to take my kids to the Chocolate Dessert Cafe in Orem. (Check out their West Jordan location too.) I'd visited this place once about five years ago, when a friend of mine invited my family and me to a birthday party for her daughter there. The birthday party was awesome, filled with cupcake decorating for the kids and yummy treats. Since that party, I've been wanting to return to try out some of the other delectable goods offered there. I treated my girls to a little outing a few

Giveaway | Camp Chocolate for Kids | Chocolate Covered Wagon

This past week we braved the snowy, icy roads to check out Chocolate Covered Wagon located in Historic Gardner Village. Chocolate Covered Wagon hosts Camp Chocolate (4-12) so we thought we'd better check it out. Thanks for hosting us Cindy! And guess what? They have chocolate, homemade warm, chocolate. Actually, they have all sorts of treats. They are actually best known for the Old Fashioned Pulled Salt Water Taffy. Yes, they do use salt from the Great Salt Lake! The salt water taffy is pretty delicious, especially when you watch it being made right in front of you. Their taffy

Woodland Fairies | Gardner Village

If your kids like fairies and magical things like that, Gardner Village is the place to go. From now until May 31, you can find woodland fairies in their tiny houses hidden throughout the shops and landscaping of Gardner Village. It's like a scavenger hunt for all things magical, and it's free! If you go on a Saturday, you can enjoy even more fantasy fun. On Saturdays, kids can join in a free fairy parade, enjoy face painting, tour miniature fairy houses, make fairy bracelets, and take a fairy garden class to make a fairy scene in a unique container
