Poison Creek Trail Murals, Park City harm Fri, 09/22/2017 - 16:04
Sadly, we can't find a trail head on the map for this awesome trail so i'll just have to tell you how to get there. There are 2 trail heads. The first is at the free parking garage behind main street. The enter trail runs behind Main Street. The second trail head is at the Skate park by the library. The trail is awesome! It has a very slight incline, it's paved, has bridges, goes through tunnels, has amazing murals, follows a small river, passes by Shoe Tree Park and it's stroller and wheel chair friendly! It took us about

Twisted Fern

Ok, so I just happened upon this place called Twisted Fern. Turns out they are new! They just opened for business this year. It's family owned and the husband is the chef. They are really trying to incorporate the farm the table approach and buy local and make everything fresh from scratch in house when ever possible. We went a little early, because kids. So we beat the rush, but by the time we left the place was packed, so we recommend going early to avoid a wait. For starters we had Grilling Cheese. SOOO good! I have to add

Loco Lizard Cantina

We are always on the hunt for family friendly restaurants in Park City because we rarely come here without kids. When we find a place we love we can't wait to share! Loco Lizard is close to the Utah Olympic Park where were spending our day so it was the perfect choice. They make everything fresh in house everyday and have GF options too! They sat us immediately and there were chips and salsa in front of us before we even picked up our menu! I got the taco plate. I love that they offer rotisserie chicken as an option

Shoe Tree Park

Shoe Tree Park in right off Main Street in Park City. You can park in the free parking garage at the top of the trail and walk down the trail, or park at the Skate Park or Library and walk up the trail. It has a very slight incline. We drove passed this park several times without knowing it was a park. We just saw shoes in the trees. I'm so glad we took the Poison Creek Trail and found this gem. It is right along a shallow river, has picnic tables and garbage cans. Perfect spot for a little

Vinto Pizzeria

We heard some great things about Vinto in Park City and were so excited to finally try them out. They did not disappoint! If you follow us on Instagram, I shared our experience on stories and my 12 year old son said it was the best restaurant he has ever been to. Just saying. The atmosphere was awesome, the service was top notch and the food. Well, we are still dreaming about it. We started with the baked goat cheese. All of my kids devoured it. I think I got one piece. Riz got meat balls, Breckyn got alfredo pasta
Treasure Mountain Inn Hotel harm Fri, 09/22/2017 - 15:25
Every fall we like to take the kids on a little Staycation up in Park City. This year we stayed in the most charming place Treasure Mountain Inn. It's located right on Main Street so it's within walking distance to restaurants, museums, and entertainment! We had the giant hot tub to ourselves every night! We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with a kitchen. I always love having a kitchen when we travel. With 4 kids, someone is always hungry! It was a rainy cold weekend with temps usually around 40 degrees! This made the hot tub the highlight of
Park City's Autumn Aloft Balloon Festival harm Fri, 09/22/2017 - 15:21
We attended Autumn Aloft in Park City this year. This is a weekend celebration that is held every year in Park City. They invite Hot Air Balloons from across the country to join in the celebration. It attracts quite a crowd so be sure to come early. This year was a little rainy and cold but once the sun came up it was perfect! Check out their website for details. They give free tethered rides in balloons, and you get to stand right there on the field to watch everyone go up! I surprised my husband with a ride in

Small Wonders: The Expansive World of Insects | Swaner EcoCenter

Leading up to Earth Day (April 22nd) the kids and I are exploring some amazing exhibits and parks in Utah that highlight natural wonders and Earth conservation! Our first stop was the Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter in Park City, to check out their newest exhibit, Small Wonders: The Expansive World of Insects. Running now until Monday May 15th. Normally I'm not one to "Ooo and Ahh" over insects! However, the displays of preserved butterflies, beetles and other small wonders had the kids and I completely fascinated! Being able to get a close up look is really neat and the exhibits
