We are super lucky to have THE WALL OF BONES on the Utah side of Dinosaur National Monument. It also happens to be the perfect place if you have 7 kids under the age of 8 with you. Stephanie and her older crew with Rafting on the river, so we had all the littles of The Salt Project! I really don't mind hanging out with the younger crew, especially, since I had my trusty sidekick husband. The younger half of The Salt Project still enjoys things like museums and are pretty happy go-lucky kids. First order of business was to

I went to Vernal because of the Utah Tourism Conference, but I also went because it's VERNAL! For the conference we ate along the banks of the Colorado River and then we were bussed to the Quarry. I remember visiting as a child, but as an adult, this wall was something else. It was dark by the time we got to the Quarry and it was super cool to see it all lit up through the glass windows outside. Once you step inside it's hard to not appreciate the size of the Quarry. My photos don't really do it justice
