We had some time to kill in Ogden last week so we stopped at this new play ground at a park that I used to frequent as a kid. My grandparents lived off 40th and Jefferson, so I would often venture down to the park with my cousins in the summer. So many fond memories. It was so fun to bring my kids and let them see the old park, and we all played on the new playground and had lunch. Just wanted to share. It's a good one and not very busy.

Nicholls Park | Castle Park | Bair Creek | Fruit Heights | Adventurin'

Updated * 12/6/2018. THIS PARK IS NOW GONE!!!!!!! Word has it a new one is coming. This park is probably more commonly known as "The Castle Park in Kaysville." Because castles. Are you guys always on the look out for a good park? I had no idea this park even existed until last year, funny how having kids exposes you to the "park life." Little Aiko can spot a slide from miles away. Bair Creek Stephanie introduced us to this little nature trail. There are probably multiple ways to access the trail, but we took the trail just east of

Roadtrippin' | Main Street Park | Hermies | Cedar City | Southern Utah

Cedar City Main Street Park Just south of the library is a sweet little park on Main Street. After a full day of hiking and adventuring, we stopped at the park to play until the sun went down. The park has a triple story slide and a few toys the kids(7-10yrs) hadn't seen before. Plus, lots of mature trees and plenty of grass. Hermies 294 North Main Street, Cedar City After playing hard, we ran next door to Hermies for a shake and fries. Hermies is a small town diner, complete with jukebox and red and white striped benches. Total

Baggin' It | Salt Hollow Park | Hyrum City harm Mon, 01/19/2015 - 20:22
Alright, as this is my third time writing this post (somehow I managed to download some kind of bug with a font) I feel that this post will be EPIC. So without further adieu! Sometimes, ya just gotta get up and GO. Right?! 9am Lady Soul texted me and 10am we were on our way to Hardware Ranch in Northern Utah. Now, when I was that, let’s just assume that my children (and I for that matter.) were bathed, fed and had a proper lunch packed for them. Let’s just assume. Also, it may have been more like 10:15, 10:30

High Adventure Park | Ogden

Every time I write post about how awesome the weather is and how it can't get any better, it DOES. Just last week, Steph was out for homeschool and they found this hidden gem in the heart of Ogden. There, they found a shallow river, rocks to climb, the Ogden Trail, a bridge, 10 giant structures to climb and explore, plus the slides and swings! So much park and adventuring in such a small area! Think Swiss family Robinson meets the Jensens! It was the perfect mix of nature and modern. All the toys were surrounded by a 2-3 foot
