Lake Powell is amazing. Lake Powell with kids is amazing and entertaining. Lets face it, you go on a vacation without the kids and all you can think about is how much fun they would be having if you had brought them, or everything you do and see, you're think about how much the kids would love to see it or be doing it too. Things I WISH I had in Lake Powell

As a family we put together a list of "Must Have" items for a trip to Lake Powell. These are items we took and LOVED, or didn't take and wish we had. Paddle Boards We took paddle boards down, and I wish we had taken MORE! They were a HUGE hit with everyone (ages 9-57). They were rarely parked at the side of the boat. Natural Bridges National Monument | Owachomo Bridge Hike

After hiking Butler Wash, we took a nice drive to Natural Bridges National Monument. Mouthful right? You could spend a whole day or a few hours (like we did.) You can drive through and visit the look outs, or do a few short hikes. I feel like this is a hidden gem. I'm so glad we bought our National Parks Pass last year, we've used it a ton!
