Finding the best places to eat while on staycation is one of my favorite parts of a trip. We of course have to hit up our favorites, but it's fun to try someplace new as well. Here are our top family friendly picks from this trip. Red Banjo These guys are family owned for 6 generations! How cool is that. They are the oldest restaurant in Park City. They have amazing pizza. We tried the cauliflower crust and loved it! They also have touch free menus which was pretty cool. It was a little rainy, but we couldn't resist sitting
Park City in the fall is our absolute favorite. The leaves start changing sooner than they do in the valley and it's a little cooler up in the mountains. We had a lovely stay at the Snow Flower in Park City. It was awesome because they have a kitchen and multiple bedrooms and bathrooms which helps so much when you have a family of 7. It would also be fun to stay with another family. The pool and hot tub were the highlight of our stay. (FYI, Snow Flower reached out with a special discount and they are keeping their
Utah County has been on our bucket list for years! We alway pass by but we have never made it a destination to stay and explore. I'm SO glad we finally made it down to explore. First off, we have to say that Provo exceeded all expectations. The small town charm, creativity, and endless number of places to eat and things to do, it would take weeks to fit it all in. We have compiled a list with the BEST OF THE BEST that Utah County has to offer. Now, remember, we only stayed for a weekend, and you can
Sundance in the Summer is so beautiful! We have only been here in the fall for the Haunted Lift ride & Zip Line. So it was nice to go up without coats and jackets and really just enjoy the beautiful mountains and scenery. We enjoyed three awesome activities while spending the day at Sundance. All were kid friendly, but would also make for an incredible date idea too. #1 RIDING THE SKI LIFT First up, we took the lift to the tippy top of the mountain. The sun was warm and the breeze was cool, we couldn't have picked a
We wanted to stay downtown at the Provo Marriott, just so we could walk everywhere and really get a feel for the city. We were able to walk to all the restaurants, activities, and murals during our stay. It was perfect. Ok, here's a wrap up our all the places we tried and loved. First up, Station 22 Southern comfort food? Yes please! These guys recently changed up their menu. We loved everything we ordered, the chicken was insanely good! We can't recommend it enough. Oh, and the biscuits & watermelon lemonade. Oh man. You can't go to provo without
It's no secret that Tagge's is our favorite local fruit stand. We stop there for pumpkins, peaches, and produce! Tagge's is offering produce boxes again this year and we are so excited to try them out for the first time. They end up being $16-27 per box (depending on the size). And you receive a box every week for 15 weeks! Thats a lot of fresh produce. They have local pick-up locations all over the valley, so it really can't be more convenient to get fresh produce at a great deal. Use code "SALTPROJECT10" for $10 off your order (expires
EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. we visit St.George, we grab a box of Cookie Kitchen Bakery Cookies. They are THE BEST in the state of Utah! So you can imagine our excitement when the owner Michelle released a cookbook with recipes to her best selling cookies. She has sold over 100,000 cookies! She was so generous to give Salt Project readers a discount code for BOGO FREE! Use code "SALTBOGO" (must have 2 books in cart for code to work).
Stephanie is the master at finding delicious foods. She's always on the lookout. Our last place to visit in Park City was Vessel Kitchen. SUCH A GOOD CHOICE! I was super excited to see the menu filled with all sorts of meats, veggies, and different sauces! The menu is amazing, there's even allergy-sensitive dishes and Whole30. So many good options! Brussel Sprouts for the win again! Along with the Miso Steelhead. Avocado Toast The Hash Hash was SO good. It made me feel all warm and cozy inside. It was like eating a super fancy stew. The pickled veggies on
After ice skating outside it was time to eat! Park City known for their delicious food and we were super excited to try Versante Grill + Bar! Their wood-fired pizzas caught our eye first! We were a little worried it was a little too fancy for all 9 children, but it was a fun atmosphere for a family! We sat right across the way from the oven! Stephanie and I can't pass up some delicious Brussel sprouts! These Honey Truffle Brussel sprouts were dang delicious. We had all the kids so why not make it a pizza night? We ordered

We had a spare minute and found ourselves about 20 minutes away from St. George and 20 minutes away from sunset. So we headed straight to The Crack! This is our favorite fast adventure and it just isn't a visit to St. George without conquering The Crack. We've never hiked it in the dark before. It was dusk, but the crack its self was super dark. It is definitely harder in the dark, so I don't recommend it if you are hiking for the first time. This is looking down from the top. We just love that red rock. And
