Corn Maze on the Farm at the American West Heritage Center | Wellsville

The American West Heritage Center is located in beautiful Cache County. It is a wonderful place where you can learn about and experience the diverse cultures that shaped the valley between 1820 and 1920. Fall is our favorite time of year to visit AWHC because the kids can enjoy all their usual favorite activities, such as the miniature train and pony rides, as well as the corn maze and pumpkin patch that are part of the Corn Maze on the Farm event. We met up with my brother and his family and our group of kids ranged from 10 months

Eccles Dinosaur Park Carnivore Carnival

We went to the Halloween Carnivore Carnival at the Eccles Dinosaur Park and had such a great time! It was really fun to get to visit the park at night, as this is the only time of the year that you can. The whole place was lit up with nearly 5,000 strands of colored lights and Halloween decorations and the whole atmosphere was fantastic! There were plenty of activities happening to keep the kids engaged and entertained from dinosaur trick or treating, carnival games, craft projects, ghost photography, hot chocolate (which was so perfect as it was quite chilly that

4 Great Spots to See Foliage Near SLC

Staring at the Wasatch Mountains and watching the mountain sides go from green to hues of red and orange I feel like the mountains are not just calling for me but SHOUTING at me to get up there. I have felt a real hunger for beautiful vistas of fall. I usually go up Big Cottonwood Canyon and up through Guardsman Pass because of the aspens. Sometimes the mountain looks like it is on fire with colors going from yellow to orange to red. Little Cottonwood Canyon is really pretty too and I have driven up through Logan Canyon as well

Crazy Corn Maze in West Jordan

This was our first visit to the Crazy Corn Maze in West Jordan, and after going I think we're going to have to add it to our must do October activities! We went in the middle of the day on a Saturday and it wasn't overly busy that we were on top of people, but we did run in to some as we went through the maze. It was perfect for families, even little kids and strollers but I think it would be fun with a bunch of older kids or even for a date night (can I get a

Kuwahara Wholesale Pumpkin Patch

From the second we pulled up to Kuwahara pumpkin patch I could tell it was going to be a hit with my 3 year old, Liam. He was giddy the moment that he saw the blowup decorations outside each of the various pumpkin patches. This pumpkin patch offers lots for kiddos to love and many spots to snap some fun photos. First, we walked through the traditional, main pumpkin patch and checked out each of the covered, themed pumpkin patches. My kiddos loved the inflatable tunnel in the back of the Frankenstein’s Cemetery patch and I loved the hanging plants

Gardner Village Witch Fest and Six Hags

This was our first time to Witch Fest and Six Hags. It's been on my list of things to do here in Utah for years and I'm so glad we finally made it happen. Next time my kids want to dress up! Luckily they had a face painter, (she was amazing!). So the kids felt a little more festive. And let me just tell you, our face paint lasted through lunch, playing hard at Six Hags, dinner, play time with friends... It still looked perfect when it was time for bed. I even debated letting them sleep with it on

Bench Hike in Ogden

The other day I looked at the mountains and realized they were changing color. We were going out of town the next day, but I knew I'd probably miss walking through the leaves if I didn't go that day. So I packed up the girls, dog, took my main little man to preschool and ran up to the trails. I only had two hours before preschool ended so I knew we had to boogie it. I accidently left my phone at home, so I was hoping we could time it just right. Aiko (4) wasn't that excited about it, until
Petersen Family Farm Pumpkin Patch harm Tue, 10/03/2017 - 21:15
Petersen Family Farm is a local farm located just south of 114th and west of Bangerter Highway in Riverton. It’s a place we love to visit all year round but pumpkin patch season is definitely our favorite time to visit. The farm is so much fun that I feel I should warn you in advance, your kids will love it and you will love it and you will definitely want to come back again and again. The farm has an amazing pumpkin selection and half the fun is grabbing a wheelbarrow and browsing the many pumpkins and gourds available, trying
