Botanical Garden & Riverwalk - Ogden

Next stop on the Ogden River Parkway is the Botanical Gardens and the Park! There are bathrooms, a playground, river access, huge grass field, bike path, and more! And its all free to the public. Check out the first part of the trail HERE. Our kids have all learned to long board on THESE boards. They are a great price and really great quality! And very easy to learn on. And we love these helmets.

Park City in the fall is our absolute favorite. The leaves start changing sooner than they do in the valley and it's a little cooler up in the mountains. We had a lovely stay at the Snow Flower in Park City. It was awesome because they have a kitchen and multiple bedrooms and bathrooms which helps so much when you have a family of 7. Ok, I'm going to be totally honest, we aren't sportsy people. There, I said it. I mean, we like to have fun, we own bikes, but my kids just got long boards this year during quarantine. Our skill level is beginner in every sense of the word. So coming to a place like this felt a little overwhelming to me. Also the fact that I have 87 kids (actually 5, feels like 87). We love the Poison Creek Trail in Park City. Its a great bike/board trail. The last couple times we have walked parts of it, but this time around we happened to have some boards in the van so they kids were thrilled to be able to explore farther. The trail ends (or starts if you wish) at the McPolin Farm in Park City. This Covid-19 quarantine mandate has taken some getting used to. But one thing we have put at the top of our priority list has been spending time outside everyday rain or shine. Luckily it has been more shine these last few weeks. One of our favorite outdoor activities, while practicing social distancing is riding bikes. On our last day at Conestoga Ranch, we decided that we needed to end our trip with another bike ride to Bear Lake! We got everyone on their bikes and bike 1 mile to a Free Beach in Garden City. We seriously love that Conestoga Ranch has complimentary bikes for their visitors! It was a beautiful day! The kids hiked up their pants and waded quite far out into blue Bear Lake.
