Beus Pond | Adventurin'

It was Free Fishing Day last week so we decided to try a new pond and bust out our dusty fishing poles that we use each year on this day. My kids have never been to Beus, and it's just a hidden gem. The pond is right next to the parking lot but everything is covered in tall trees and shrubs so it feels very secluded. The trail around the pond is very short and paved. There are dirt trail off shoots all around that go to a grassy field and park. And there is a small river that leads

Poison Creek Trail Murals, Park City

Sadly, we can't find a trail head on the map for this awesome trail so i'll just have to tell you how to get there. There are 2 trail heads. The first is at the free parking garage behind main street. The enter trail runs behind Main Street. The second trail head is at the Skate park by the library. The trail is awesome! It has a very slight incline, it's paved, has bridges, goes through tunnels, has amazing murals, follows a small river, passes by Shoe Tree Park and it's stroller and wheel chair friendly! It took us about

Biking the Pa'Rus Trail in Zion National Park

Who doesn’t love a family bike ride on a warm summer night? It's what summer dreams are made of. Family bike rides are such a great way to get some exercise, get the kids out of the house and enjoy some scenery. Take that family bike ride to the Pa’Rus trail in Zion and what you get is pure summer magic. I have three kiddos, a seven-year-old (Lucy), four-year-old (Willow), and one almost two-year-old (Phoenix). We could have loaded our bikes up and taken them with us on our adventure, but instead, we took the easy route and got our

You guys!!!!! If you haven't been to St. George recently, and there are plans to visit in the future, you simply MUST put the Thunder Junction All Abilities Park on your bucket list of things to do while there. Hands down, this is one of THE BEST public parks we've have ever taken our kids to. It's probably one of the best free public parks in Utah. Camille and I actually went separately and unknowingly wanted to both post about this amazing park. Camille went in November, while I went right after Christmas. I'd heard about this park, mainly because

Adventure Haus | Cascade Springs | Zermatt Resort | Staycations

Adventure Haus | Zermatt Resort This was probably THE best way to sum up our Staycation at the Zermatt Resort. (Thanks to the Adventure Haus and Zermatt Resort for setting hosting us.) Who doesn’t want to take a Polaris Razor 4 (that holds four) and ride it around the Wasatch mountain range for 2 hours?! We were given a 5-minute safety overview, instructions and a map and were off! Right from the Zermatt Entrance! I didn't realize we were so close to a whole world of off roading trails, specifically created for 4 wheeling fun. About 4 minutes into the

Farmington Creek Trail | Adventurin'

I know we probably shouldn't tell you this, but sometimes, we're like "What should we do?!" It's just downright ridonk-ulous. My whole family had been sick the last weekend and I was just ready to get out. Regardless of the looming thunderclouds and raining trickling down all over. Luckily, Stephanie was game for adventure in the rain too. Stephanie and been perusing Instagram and saw some amazing photos of Farmington Creek Trails, so there we headed. I'd only recently been to Farmington Pond this year...and actually I forgot to post all about my swimming in the kind of gross pond

ADA Park | Chloe's Sunshine Playground | Iceberg Drive Inn | Adventurin' | Grubbin'

We don't make it so Syracuse very often and this park has been on my list of places to visit for awhile so I thought we could just swing by real quick since we were just down the street. The kids were reluctant, everyone was hungry and it was hot. Just 5 minutes, I tell them as we jump out of the car, half of us without shoes. The entrance to the park is wheelchair/stroller friendly and leads up to the top levels where kids with special needs can easily access the slides. In fact, the entire park is special
