Utah Children's Theatre's Haunted Theatre Spooktacular

The ghosts of productions past are coming back to put on a fun and spooky variety show. The Prima Donna, the Opera Star, the Prima Ballerina and an Old Hollywood Starlet are here to "relive" their glory days on the stage. With the help of the living manager, Mr. Arthur Avalon, these misfit ghost create a variety show that will delight children and adults of all ages.

This show is so fun for kids, they have the entire theatre decorated for Halloween and everyone from the ushers to the actors are in awesome costumes that help to set the mood from the moment you walk through the doors. We love that it is geared towards kids, which means they have some spooky elements, but I'd almost say more laughs than anything else watching these misfit characters attempt to relive their glory days. It is the perfect way to spend an evening relaxing indoors and getting into the holiday spirit as a family. We seriously love these guys, they always put on a great show!

They will be holding a COSTUME CONTEST on the 30th at 7:00pm and 31st at 1:00pm and 4:30pm. Winners will be awarded prizes at intermission.

1st place will receive a $50 Utah Children's Theatre Gift Certificate.
2nd place will receive two tickets to the upcoming show Snow White.
3rd place will receive a $5 voucher for treats at the Concessions Stand.

The Costume Contest will be judged by their Costume Manager Christina Wilson.

They will also be holding a COLORING CONTEST that runs Oct 1st-31st.

My 3 boys have decided we need to go scary this year and I have been designated the witch. They will be a mummy and my twins will be skeletons. Last year I was Princess Leia for our family themed costumes so I feel like this is a bit of a demotion. Would love to see the show!
