I went to Vernal because of the Utah Tourism Conference, but I also went because it's VERNAL!

For the conference we ate along the banks of the Colorado River and then we were bussed to the Quarry.

I remember visiting as a child, but as an adult, this wall was something else.

It was dark by the time we got to the Quarry and it was super cool to see it all lit up through the glass windows outside. Once you step inside it's hard to not appreciate the size of the Quarry.

My photos don't really do it justice. This giant wall is actually a side of the MOUNTAIN.

I wasn't able to check out more than this of the park, so you can be sure I'll be back.

There's over 1,500 dinosaur bones visible in the wall. Seriously, it's definitely checking out while visiting.
