This Covid-19 quarantine mandate has taken some getting used to. But one thing we have put at the top of our priority list has been spending time outside everyday rain or shine. Luckily it has been more shine these last few weeks.
One of our favorite outdoor activities, while practicing social distancing is riding bikes. Ask my kids, their favorite of all the bikes in our garage is definitely our Woom Bikes. They are light weight and high quality. This little Woom 2 Bike is on its 2nd kid, and soon to be it's third! And it is still going strong. Check out the day we got it in the video below. When we taught Riz how to ride a bike.
We have teamed up with Woom, to share some of our tried and true favorite family friendly bike trails across the state of Utah. And to help beat those quarantine blues, we are giving away a Woom Bike! Any size you want! Plus $100 in Woom Apparel! (Enter to win on Instagram)
Alright, we are kicking off our master list of trails with our favorite.
We love finding trails close to home, we have a lot of people in our family, so transporting 7 at once it quite an ordeal. The Kays Creek Trail (link & more photos below) is a crowd favorite for several reasons. It's close enough that we don't have to drive there, it is several miles long, and it has lots of wildlife. We always see deer or a fox.
We found chalk art and uplifting messages on the path this week. So fun. Thanks #quarantine.
The end of this trail is a beautiful pond (HERE) with an awesome hiking trail around it too!
Remember, be safe. Our Governor recommends you wear a mask and stay 6ft apart. We are in no way promoting leaving your home. If you do so, it is by your own free will and choice.
Our current mandates states- Outdoor activities and exercise: City parks and trails will remain open to the public for permitted activities. As long as you are 6 ft away from the nearest individual you can go outside to: Walk, Hike, Bike, Run, Fish or other similar outdoor activities.
Here are our favorite trails. If your favorite didn't make the list, please share it in the comments so we can check it out.
