It's go time people! There is always a small window to see the gorgeous fall leaves in the mountains and now is prime time. We went last weekend (Sept 25th) and they were just starting to creep down the mountain. That means this weekend (Oct 1st) its going to be AMAZING! Our favorite place to go is Snow Basin. We have a secret location, details below...

We found this wild apple tree with white apples speckled in red dots. They were AMAZING!

This fun fall top is from our favorite NEW boutique in Kaysville, LalaLovely! They are right on the 2nd north exit, right by our favorite park and the new Library. Be sure to stop by and check out their darling stuff next time you are in Kaysville, or you can also by on-line!

Not sure why the photos of the gorgeous colored mountains are not showing up in this post. Sorry guys, they are there, I promise. We LOVE the "old snow basin road" because it has incredible views, great trails, the sun sets a little later because you are up higher and there are WAY less people.

Helpful Tips

Snow Basin is amazing, but we also recommend the Old Snow Basin Rd for the best views and trails vs. the Snow Basin Rd.

Old Snow Basin Rd is accessible from Ogden Canyon Rd that runs along Pine View. The new Road is accessible via Trappers Loop.

The OLD road says that the "road is closed" It's closed year round. You can still drive on it, but it doesn't connect with Snow Basin Resort like it used to. So keep following it along until you reach the end where it is actually closed. There is a parking lot, bathrooms, and several trails you can take.
