After working up an appetite exploring the Midway Ice Castles, we were starving! I've wanted to eat in this cute little place for years! It looks like an old ghost town, or a western town from a movie, but there are shops and restaurants in the old buildings!
This is a photo of Snake Creek Grill while they were filming a movie on location once. All of the old buildings here were brought here years ago from Idaho, and the owner of Snake Creek Grill said they have been there for 19 years! Pretty amazing!
They had some pretty fancy menu items and plenty of items for the kids to pick from. They all ordered mac 'n cheese, surprise, surprise, and we got a enormous order of fries for everyone to share.
I had to try the Swiss Onion Soup, it was SO good!
Dan tried the grass fed beef burger. It was huge but he managed to eat it all, I did help a little (wink, wink). I always have to sample his food.
The blueberry peach crumble was calling my name for dessert and the kids all got a Sunday because, well, why not.
The service was great, our server was so good with the kids. The restaurant is bursting at the brim with charm! It's definitely a unique eating environment being inside the old buildings. We all love what we ordered and we will definitely be back!
Thanks for hosting us Snake Creek!
