Sleepy Hollow Wagon Ride Coupon
The Sleepy Hollow wagon ride has been on my list of things to do for a couple years now. I'm not a big fan of haunted houses and my crew is still a bit young for that sort of thing but we still wanted to do something spooky this year that the whole family could enjoy. You guys, this is it! Just the right amount of spook mixed with a thrilling experience that is super unique. The horse drawn wagon is just the right amount of bumpy on the dirt path as you wind around Midways Soldier Hollow while listening to the story of The Headless Horseman. There is one point that the horses reach a full gallop as the wagon speeds up a hill so hold on tight! Also, people may or may not jump out and scare you during the ride (or make your baby cry).
I loved that everyone was in full character to enhance the experience.
We had ages 11 months to 13 years and they all loved it (minus the part where Wells cried because we were screaming).
Berdee is 4 and loved it. Just the right about of spookiness, plus dad was there to keep her safe.
Poor Wells, was literally scared to tears (more scared of all of us screaming, than by what made us scream). Don't worry, he was fine.
I took a lot more pictures, but decided not to post because I don't want to give anything away.
The headless horseman came flying towards our wagon at a full gallop! That in itself was frightening. This ride gets scarier as it gets darker (so they said) so be sure to go before dusk if you have littles. I thought it was very enjoyable at dusk because we could see everything. But if you want a real fright, go in the dark and let us know how it was. Maybe we will go back for date night next time.
Park City News interviewed us after the ride but I couldn't find the clip to share here.
