Ruby's ATV Tours | 12 Utah Staycations

We're super excited to partner up with Ruby's Inn & Garfield county to feature Ruby's ATV Tours! Ruby's Inn has been in Bryce Canyon for over 100 years, so you better believe Ruby's knows all the cool spots!

We had booked an ATV tour at 4 pm with Ruby’s Inn. After hiking Willis Creek, we had some down time to rest and then took our 3, 5, 6, 11, 14-year-olds to go for a ride! We left the babies with Dan (thanks for watching them Dan!) As long as your child fits into a helmet they can go on this ride!

The ATV Guided Tour starts across the street. We headed over to get our helmets and goggles fitted.

Our vehicles were already lined up and ready to go! We thought about bringing our car seats but found we didn’t really need them. The kids all piled it and we were off!

Now, this is more of a leisurely ATV ride, perfect for families with small kids and beginners. We followed in a line after our guide and visited the Rim of Bryce Canyon National Park. We were able to get out and check out the view.

The first half of the tour was mainly on dirt roads and was lovely going through the forest while the second half of the tour was a bit more off-road and going through puddles and twisting through the trees.

We spied some Pronghorn Sheep in the fields and got some back history on Ruby’s Inn. We loved the drive! Thanks for having The Salt Project Ruby's ATV Tours!

Helpful Tips
  • Rides start from the Bryce Canyon Auto Care Center (Sinclair Station) at 105 S Main St Bryce Canyon City, Utah.
  • Kids who can fit into the helmets can go. Honestly, I would take younger kids and didn’t feel like we did anything too crazy.
  • Be sure to sign the waivers ahead of time so you don’t have to rush over.
  • It was dusty, so be prepared to get dirty. I kind of wished I’d brought a hankerchief to cover my mouth and nose from the dust.
  • No bathrooms, so go before!
  • 1 hour ride total.
