Somehow, I keep finding pictures that were forgotten. Hill Aerospace Museum is not something that is easy to forget either. This place is HUGE! It just keeps going and going and going. Plus, it's free!
It's the perfect place to go when the weather isn't co-operating.
It's a great place to go and teach our kids about the troops who served.
They have displays from all the wars there. You can even walk through time with the pilot uniforms throughout the years.
We actually went on Veteran's Day and got to meet some vets! They were super sweet and loved showing us their planes and helicopters. We also asked the director if we could decorate the doors for Veteran's Day. The kids thought it was pretty cool.
It was pretty cold outside, so we hurried and snapped some photos of the planes outside. This is only a few of the planes, there are tons out there.
This place will always be near and dear to my heart. When I was in 5th grade I came with my dad, who was a Pilot at Hill AFB at the time. My little 5th grade self was just beaming with pride the whole time. Even now, as an adult, it's STILL so amazing that people can actually fly!
