We were in Southern Utah for Thanksgiving Break, and was able to kick-off Christmas by viewing of Elf the Musical at Tuacahn Amphitheatre! Elf The Musical is now playing at the newly renovated Hafen Theatre (their indoor theatre) at Tuacahn!

You know The Salt Project loves Tuacahn! We were super excited to hear that they had Christmas shows!

All the kids (and cousins) had just watched Elf the movie a few days ago.

I'll admit, I was a little hesitant. Don't hate me, but I've only seen Elf the movie once and didn't care for it much. But I LOVE Musicals, so I was happy to give Elf another chance. I'm super glad I did. I LOVED all the colors, costumes and songs. The storyline is a little different, but still had all the Christmas Spirit there! The actor who played Buddy brought on all the awkwardness like Will Ferrell and it was hilarious. Some of our favorite parts were the dancing Santas, the tap dancing, the elves, and their costumes. The actor's voices were lovely! The boy who played Buddy's little brother has an AMAZING voice!

I was a little worried about taking my 5-year-old to the show, but I'm so glad I did. He had the best reactions. He kept saying "WHOA! Is that magic?! How did that... and what just happened and why?!" We took kids ages 4-16 and everyone loved the show. This last photo is of the snow coming down in the theatre and Orion almost lost it. I snuck a photo because his face shows the magic of Elf the Musical!

Tickets are still on sale now! If you find yourself in Southern Utah go to Tuacahn and see Elf The Musical!
