Bear Lake Bucketlist 2022

We are SO excited to be partnering with Oso Blu Yurts to bring you our 2022 Bear Lake Bucketlist!

Roadtrippin' to Bear Lake is aways a fun time. This photo was taken as we were pulled over cleaning up throw up. TMI? Hey, thats just the reality of life when you have a little one with a weak stomach. Berdee took the opportunity to get some people to honk their horn as they came down the canyon road. And that kicked off our awesome weekend up at Bear Lake!

It was still a little cool when we went so we have lots of fun (non water) activities to share with you today. Bear Lake is SO much more than boating. Scroll down and check it out.

Oso Blu Yurts

We stayed in these awesome yurts. Don't be fooled by the simple tent like structure. These things are absolute magical! Our kids were blown away by what they found inside! Full kitchen, bedrooms, a loft, fireplace, bathroom, laundry! It was an absolute dream staying here. They sleep 12 and there are 5 so you can reserve the whole lot for a family reunion! How cool would that be. Check out more HERE.

Bridgerland Adventure Park

We saw this being built last time we were here, it's done now and they are adding to it all the time. We were visiting a week before they opened for the season, but they were kind enough to let us try to tubes, mini golf, and the tramps so we could share with y'all.

They said anyone 80 or over is FREE! There is no age limit on tubes if you double up. I recommend doubling up anyway because you go faster!

Summit Inn Pizza

Along with Raspberry Shakes, another must at Bear Lake is PIZZA! We love the Jalapeno Doodles! Do yourself a favor and order a couple next time you go. You can thank us later. Deets HERE.

Horseback Riding

You can go horseback riding at multiple places in Bear Lake, might we suggest heading to MW Quarter Horses in Lake Town. They only charge by the horse vs the rider, so you can get more bang for your buck. They offer trail rides or a family horse experience where you get a more personal experience. Deets HERE.

Bear Lake Hot Springs

Did you know Bear Lake has a hot spring that pumps over 48,000 gallons of piping hot water each day? Check it out.

Limber Pine Trail

This hike is super easy for kids and has some killer views. Deets HERE.

Garden City Park & Free Beach

We love this beach because its located downtown and you can walk there. Also, we love the boardwalk and the fact that it has bathrooms.

Check out directions and deets HERE.

La Beaus

You CANT go to Bear Lake without getting a raspberry shake, or peach/raspberry, or Oreo/raspberry, and don't forget the fries, and a burger while you are at it. Our fave is La Beaus because they are family owned and we think they have the best in town.

Garden City Canyon Trail

This hike is BEAUTIFUL, with stunning views. Family friendly too! Deets HERE.
