AC Hotel

First thing first. Get a hotel. We stayed at the AC Hotel in Downtown Salt Lake. The AC Hotel is right in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City so we were close to everything. Plus, the VIEWS! Read more about it here. 

Rendezvous Date

We ended up at Stoneground Kitchen to eat. Stoneground Kitchen is not a place we probably would have chosen ourselves but LOVED it!

After dinner at Stoneground Kitchen, we headed over to the Gateway Mall to visit The Salt & Honey Market. So many cute, locally made products.

Mystery Escape Room

Man, these Escape Room ideas are SO cool. We did the Grimms Fairy Tales and there were so many surprises! Think hidden doors, compartments, and wolves. We can't give away too many details, but you have 1 HOUR to get out!

After the Mystery Escape Room, we were pooped, so headed back to the AC hotel to get some shut-eye. 

Hibiscus Spa

After waking up refreshed, we headed down to the AC lobby for breakfast. After filling up we were off to our next date activity! Did you know that the AC can help you book a spa?! The AC set up a couples massage for us at the Hibiscus Spa. It was amazing. Seriously. Hibiscus Spa is running a special right now too! We headed back to the AC to freshen up and gear up for our Mural Scavenger Hunt!

Honestly, we think riding scooters is THE best way to experience Salt Lake City. On the scooters, we were able to travel much faster and see SO many murals. Check out more of our murals here! Plus we even stopped by Pig & a Jelly Jar and Normal Ice Cream. There's no way we could have fit it all in by walking on foot.

Our last stop was Ice Skating at the Gallivan Center! It was the perfect way to finish up our Couples Salt Lake City Staycation!
