Giveaway | Tulip Festival | Thanksgiving Point | Lehi

We had a chance to get together as an extended family for a quick weekend getaway. Trying to please a crowd of individuals ranging in age from 1 to 56 proved to be a bit of a challenge. We found our final please-all destination at the Thanksgiving Point Gardens.

The Tulip Festival is in full swing right now and everyone in our group found something to enjoy.

The kids soon discovered that there was so much more than just tulips for them to see and do.

They started out picking up a scavenger hunt that required them to find little fact signs around the gardens.

Although it was pretty crowded finding parking and getting through the lines into the gardens on a Saturday afternoon, once we entered the 55-acre property it was easy enough to spread out and the kids had plenty of room to run, roam and explore. (They also had golf carts available to rent that the kids tried to talk us into!)

Grandma loved wandering with the grandkids and seeing the beauty of all the spring colors through her grandkids eyes.

The kids found a little game area with bounce houses, giant lawn chess and checker games, old school wooden lawn games, croquet and more.

There was an area with some delicious food trucks (mango squash smoothie… best flavor of the day!), vendors and live music that totally gave off that hip young vibe and appealed to the teen and young adult crowd.

Corbin even stopped at the Happy Valley Goods booth and played around with an amazing wooden puzzle featuring the United States.

The water features, statues, and endless display of flowers was magical.

My niece just finished reading The Secret Garden and we felt like we had stepped into that world!

After finding all the hidden answers they could trade their papers in for a little prize on their way out the door.

Admittedly, I had wondered what all the hype was about seeing some flowers, but now I can attest that the Tulip Festival, and really just the grounds at Thanksgiving Point, offer so much more than I had realized! Definitely recommend it, especially for mixed groups of all ages, it was perfect and had something for everyone.

While this is a sponsored post, the opinions are The Salt Project's own.

Thanksgiving Point Gardens

Take I-15 to exit #284 (Timpanogos Hwy or SR92) in Lehi and proceed west on Clubhouse Drive. Cross the bridge and take an immediate right onto Garden Drive and proceed to the Gardens area.

Buy Bulbs

1) After the Tulip Festival, we remove tulip bulbs from the Gardens and sell them in mixed varieties for $3 per dozen. The sale takes place in the greenhouse.
2. For those who want a more planned design (or may have seen bulbs in the Gardens that they just can’t do without), we have partnered with our bulb supplier in Holland. Our guests can have a 20 percent off coupon ordering bulbs direct from our supplier. They are shipped to a warehouse in the US, who then ships them directly to your homes just in time for fall planting.

I think once or twice a week would be good-more than that I think would be hard to maintain, but I do like seeing the posts.

Thank you for sharing. I've never been to the festival. Looks very beautiful.
Maybe posting once or twice a week to the site would be good.
