This is the Place Heritage Park | Salt Lake City

Baby Animal Days is right up there with Christmas in our family. If the kids even hear me mention the word and they start jumping up and down with cheers! (not exaggerating.)

We planned a family field trip so Dad could join in. We go early to avoid the crowds and so glad we did. It's nice to just enjoy the animals and attractions without feeling rushed or waiting in line. When we left the park around 1pm there was a line out the door for tickets!

The chicks are my favorite!

The river is their favorite.

The gold mining river was under construction last year when we came so the kids were beyond excited to go check it out. We spent about an hour mining and walked away with a small fortune of fools gold.

The littles love the mini train so we rode it several times. Admission includes 3 activities. You can choose from horseback riding, mini train, and a craft. The large train that travels around the park is complimentary and has wheelchair access.

They have a new exciting Native American Village under construction for this year! We can't wait to go back and check it out!

For the craft they made arrowhead necklaces.

The Barber and the Barber shop is our favorite! He is so into his character and we love listening to his stories.

Obligatory family photo.

There is a little village by the farm full of mini houses. This is the perfect spot for lunch if you brought one. You can leave your food in the car and bring it in when you are ready, all you need is your bracelet for re-entry.

Here is a little video compilation of our snaps from the day. We had such a great time! This Is The Place has something for everyone of all ages. I love that it is educational and gives such a great insight into the pioneer times for the kids. Baby Animal Days is on for a few more weeks, don't delay!
