Zion Ponderosa Giveaway | Birthday Number TWO | Staycation

Anyone know where this photo was taken?? Hint, it's in Utah.

Nope, it's not Angel's Landing, but it is in Zion National Park. I thought Angel's Landing was the highest hike...only to find out there's a hike even higher: Observation Point. 1,000 feet higher than Angel's Landing! (Angel's Landing below)

Not only is Observation Point 1,000 feet higher than Angel's Landing, it's also VERY near a 4,000 Acre Ranch Resort. This Ranch happens to be on the Edge of Zion National Park: Zion Ponderosa Resort! Zion Ponderosa sits at 6,500 ft. high in the sky, on one of Zion's many plateaus.

Sounds pretty dreamy right?

The more I read and hear about Zion Ponderosa Resort the more excited I get to share it with you. We've partnered up with Zion Ponderosa for something big! But let's hear a bit more about this wondrous place.

I need this Staycation because we weren't able to go anywhere during the summer because my husband works on sprinklers from sunrise until dark. Things are finally slowing down now and this would be an amazing way for our family to spend some time together again! Thanks for the chance!!!

I need a vacation from my life, and this getaway from zions sounds like what I have been needing! I am currently going through a divorce, and it's been painful and emotionally exhausting. Going to zions would be some spiritual zen for my soul! It is one of my favorite places in probably the world! I would feel so blessed to win this! Xoxo

My husband proudly works as a director of operations for Weber County. He's worked to achieve a lot for our stakeholders within the county and recently had a promotion involving basically- a second job all tied into one. Prior to this he successfully opened and ran Bistro 258 on Historic 25th. I work as a public servant in WSD as a speech pathologist in special education primarily with preschool children and children with autism spectrum and severe delays, while moonlighting for a local nonprofit that gives free services for children with speech and language delays. We do extra to save for our boys' college education. I also work as a part time photographer trying to improve my skills with portrait as well as landscape photography. Given the demands of our professions and budget, we simply can't just "escape" for a week in Mexico or Hawaii. Truly, Zions.. is a world class, uniquely epic destination to both rest and rejuvenate. When you live in Utah.. who needs a vacation when you can "staycation"! Pick us! What a 26 yr. anniversary present since we haven't really celebrated since the honeymoon. He would flip to find out you picked us! Thanks for listening!

This would be so awesome! We haven't been on a vacation in nearly nine years (other than seeing family) and have talked about remedying that and visiting the local national parks. This would be fabulous!

I NEED THIS!! ☺️ A getaway or vacation would be the answer to my prayers right now. I just had a baby (4 weeks ago) she hasn't slept one night yet. She has lots of intestinal problems, reflux, colic, etc. I could really use a break. Not to mention this is the first Christmas I have to celebrate w out hosting to my dad, who would always come visit us for xmas. He passed away to cancer. I could sit here and give u a huge sob story on why I should win or I can just tell you.... . I love vacations, I love friends, I love family, I love Zions, and I love a good time!! So what's better then to combine all of that in one place!! And not have to pay!! Sounds like a Dream. I'd even leave my kids behind for this and just invite friends. That's how bad I wanna go!! Ha

It's been a surreal 26 mo with my now 19yr old son. At 17 he had a small freckle on the side of his head that bugged him when he wore a hat. He is now stage 4 cancer. What a world you get thrown into!! He is positive even as doctors give him little time left. The crazy thing is we are all pretty happy:) I decided not to "ruin today worrying about tomorrow". No way I will be sad while he is here:) This gives you lots of perspective on what matters and even though we didn't want this, we can do it however it goes:) I look at your site often as I have two younger kids at home and we need a break and look for creative things to do! Thanks for helping us do that!!

I need this staycation for a few different reasons: first as an escape from the daily stresses of work, and life in general. Also to explore the area and see more of what this world has to offer.
