Zion Adventure Photog Family Photos | 12 Utah Staycations

When I realized that we would be close to Arika (from Zion Adventure Photog) when visiting Cable Mountain Lodge, I knew that family photos needed to happen! Arika is my favorite Southern Utah Photographer (dare I say favorite in general?)

I was super excited to have Stephanie meet Arika in person too. Stephanie and I planned to have Arika take pretty casual photos. I wanted to have some photos that shows us pretty much how we are, dressed as we are, stains and all. I loved how they turned out.

I admire Arika's love for adventure families too! She's got a great Instagram feed and I love reading all about the family adventures the she captures!

Arika is SUPER unique as far a photographer goes because she will literally follow you around on adventures to capture family moments! I love this perspective and I love the red rocks that surround Southern Utah. I was soooo excited to work with her again!

We've worked with Arika (here, here, here, here) over the years and truly love her perspective and sense of adventure! She's got some AWESOME Southern Utah itineraries too!

Arika is an avid hiker and knows all the local gems and BEST places to visit for family photos.

She brought us to a secret hike in Hurricane that is just magical. (If you want to hike it, you'll have to ask Arika...wink, wink.)

The background here was unreal. We were walking right along the Virgin River and it was pretty magical.

We couldn't resist climbing up to this hole in the rock. Once I got up there I regretted bringing the kids up there. My mama heart was kind of freaking out.

On our way out of the hike we stopped for a quick photo, only to have the wind go crazy. Funny things is, I love it. I love real life photos.

Thanks to Arika for capturing these photos! If you are ever needing an itinerary or some family photos, be sure to check out Zion Adventure Photo's website!
