1 day in Yellowstone - with kids

Yellowstone with kids is always the best experience. Make sure you pack water, food, and sunscreen and have a full tank of gas, and you are good to go for an entire day of exploring.

We love to go swimming at Firehole when we go. It was closed, but the turn off was still open. We took it and saw some hot springs along the river so we decided to stop and go swimming.

We stopped at as many geysers as we could. We went mid week in September and the parking lots were still insanely full and we ended up parking miles down the street. I can't imagine what mid summer is like here.

Is yellowstone is one day doable? absolutely.
