The Train Shoppe | The Ricochet Canyon
For years, I've seen snippets of a cute train shop somewhere in Utah. We finally found it and finally went...in DECEMBER! Man. I've had these photos sitting on my desktop forever! I've just barely seen them again and I've decided it's time!
My grandma used to own a train shop in Iowa, so I have some fond memories of trains. I've chased quite a few trains in my life and I'm super excited to share all about The Train Shoppe in South Salt Lake. On the outside, this looks like any train shop, maybe you've never been in a train shop or even noticed them, but this train shop is much different than any other one I've seen. Sure, there are loads of boxes of tiny trains, but it's beyond the shop that you want.
It's full of magic! If your kids LOVE trains or even if they don't, this place is pure magic.
I've heard that the themes change from season to season and as you'll notice, we've got Santa in some of our photos.
For just a couple bucks, your kids can go on train rides, a shooting gun train ride and even push LOTS of buttons to make trains go!
Even if you don't want to pay and just want to look it's still pretty magical. My kids LOVED seeing all the different train scenes and different kinds of trains.
There are even benches to sit and to see just a little bit higher.
You can even have a birthday party here! There are a few themed rooms for parties!
