Stoneground Kitchen | Rendezvous Box | 12 Utah Staycations
Thanks to Rendezvous Box we were able to go out to eat, without having to do any planning! Honestly, it was super fun to check into the AC Hotel and find a wax-sealed envelope with our surprise date details inside! If you haven't, check out our Instastories Video, we compiled and saved it here!
Stephanie and I opened up our Rendezvous envelope to find that we wold be eating dinner at Stoneground Kitchen in Salt Lake City! All we had to do was show up at 6 pm, tell them our names and a gift card was waiting for us.
Honestly, we felt like movie stars! The ambiance of the place was amazing. Fancier restaurants are not places we visit often on The Salt Project.
We started out with some Focaccino bread. Stephanie couldn't believe that we ordered bread for an appetizer, especially when there were SOOO many amazing options, but seriously, that Focaccino bread was freaking amazing.
They brought it out hot and it was a huge bubble. They sliced it up right in front of you and all that delicious smelling steam just blew us away.
So good.
Try the Marinated Beet Salad, so good.
We all got something different, so we could share and taste everything! The Chorizo & Hot Honey Pizza is not to be missed. The Black Tagliatelle Pasta with Lobster was SO yummy. I (Harmony) actually ordered the Whey Cured Scallops and Bruschetta appetizer so I could try even more things! Derek ended up ordering the Pork Tenderloin. Hands down, the best pork I've had in my life.
So good. My mouth may be watering now, just writing about all the food again. We were so full and so happy.
The second part of our Rendezvous Box date was a Mural Scooter Hunt, but we were doing that the next day since it was too late and dark. Be sure to follow along to see ALL the MURALS!
