Silver Lake has been on my list for so long, but we just never get to each year before the snow comes. This year we made it a priority and I'm so glad we did. We went on a Sunday, which I never recommend doing by the way. We usually try to get out during the week to avoid crowds and now I remember why. But, even though it was a weekend and the most incredibly beautiful day, it was still worth it, and the crowds really weren't that bad.
We had ages 2-64 and this really was the perfect trail for our group. It was short enough that it was easy for everyone and we finished with a picnic lakeside.
We played some football, saw a ton of deer and other wild animals, and enjoyed the beautiful views.
Silver Lake is a beautiful half boardwalk, half dirt trail.

There is a slight incline at the half way point. We got our stroller up no problem, and depending on the wheelchair, it shouldn't be a problem either.
