My maiden name is Bruce. My kids all have Scottish names. I'm obsessed with bagpipes and kilts. I'm related to King Robert the Bruce. And yet, I'd never been to the Scottish Festival! I heard they were coming and we made a last minute trip to Lehi to check it out!

See, Bruce!

How cute!

Baby Ginger in a kilt. Dying!

The line for The Scottish Pie Shop was LONG! But we waited because we knew it would be good! And they had Haggis. And we wanted Haggis!

It was our first time, so we all passed it around to try. Everyone liked it, even the kids, then we told them what was in it...

I loved the bag pipers, and my girls loved the dancers.

Look at that! The Bruces had their own territory!

We had such a great time! I loved sharing our Scottish heritage with the kids and really let them experience the culture, food and music. There were bagpipes on every corner, good food, dancing, competitions, plenty of kilts... and guess what! There is another festival in Utah in July in Payson! Deets HERE.
