We were on our way to Marysvale for Labor Day weekend when we finally had the chance to visit the Scipio Petting Zoo! Oh, wait, you are wondering where Scipio is? Well it's about 2 hours south on I-15 from Ogden. (Check out other things to do along I-15, we could totally fill up your day with our list)

Located just off of I-15 at a Gas Station on your right hand side (If going south.) The bathrooms are pretty nice and they have a good snack selection. I've seen signs for the petting zoo the last few years, but somehow we always missed it or it was closed. Plus we usually drive the dreaded I-15 at night, but this time we had plenty of light.

The kids were pretty excited for this little zoo.

ZONKEY! Ever heard of one? They are pretty adorable, as I do love donkeys in general.

The bunnies were probably the kids favorite. I'd like to call them JUMBO bunnies because they were LARGE. I've never seen bunnies so bit.

This goat and sheep were exceptionally friendly and just wanted attention.

The petting zoo is free, but be sure to leave a donation at the box!

Also, if you get a chance, just drive through Scipio. I love driving through the old town, there's some cute houses too.
