Pintsize Picassos - Black Light Paint Night

We had a friend reach out on Instagram and tell us about this fun family owned business in Bountiful. She said we should check it out because her and her daughter had such a great experience. So... we scheduled the next available class! Which just happened to be a Black Light paint class.

Locke had work, but Breck didn't! So I took 80% of the kids to try out Pintsize Picassos. The last time I did a paint class was in 2020 during covid quarantine. Do you remember when we all had to stay home for 3 weeks! Seems like a lifetime ago. Anyway, I participated in a paint class via FB Live and had the best experience!

So I was super excited to have the littles be able to try out their first ever paint night! The owners of Pintsize Picassos said that the classes were open to any age, so Wells (age 4) was able to participate. I didn't have high expectations for his end product, but I was blow away by what he created. They had instructors walking around to assist when needed, but for the most part, he did the entire thing. I'm so impressed!

This was the final product. Black Light paintings! They look beautiful in natural light, but really pop with a black light.

Riz was super excited.

Wells had no idea what he was in for...

Wells was determined and did a great job following the instructor. At first the lights were on, so it seemed like a normal paint class.

But then, they turned off the lights and turned on the Black Light and all the colors popped!

It was so fun to follow the steps and slowly see it all come together.

The instructor was painting step by step for the class and explaining everything, and there were TVs around the room so you could see every step.

There were lots of Black Light art displayed around the room. They only do Black Light Paint Nights 1-2 times per month. So you have to jump on it when the dates are announced.

If you are looking for something fun and unique, this is it! Girls night, Date night, or Family night, you can't go wrong. It's always fun to try something new together. I think my favorite part was that they had Encanto soundtrack playing in the background and when We Don't Talk About Bruno came on, the entire room was singing together. It was pretty cute.

Thanks for stopping by our blog today! We hope you try out a paint night. If you do, tag us so we can see and share! We love seeing you try out the places we share and help support our community by supporting local family owned businesses like Pintsize Piccasos. Check out their site for upcoming classes and to book your paint night.
