You guys! I can't even tell you how awesome Make and Master workshops are!
But... since you are reading this, I'll give it my darndest.
We arrived to find boxes filled with everything we would need for the project (and some swag). Fresh scones were waiting for us while attendees arrived. It was basically like a fancy party with good food and presents and leather bags for everyone!
Every step, from cutting our patterns out of hide to stitching and assembling, we did it ALL!
Breakfast and lunch were provided. So delish!
Parker and Whitney, the talent behind Stock and Barrel, were there to help us every step of the way.
And Chelsea, the talented lady behind Make and Master. I just want to give her a huge hug! Thank you Chelsea! I'm passionate about continued education for all ages. Just because you finish school doesn't mean learning has to stop, but I feel like so often that is the case. Not only did I LOVE the class and my bag (love love love), but now I have a new skill! I know how to work with leather, I know where to buy it, how much I should pay for it, what kind to get, what tools to use... I learned so much!
My kids started making big plans for their own bags when I got home and showed them all of my stuff. So it's safe to say, we will be adding leather working to our curriculum for school!

PS word on the street is that we are giving away a seat to next weeks class!... (check back Monday wink wink)
