Layton Fest... Food Trucks, farmers, venders, bounce houses. OH YES!
I'm from Davis county, so I was thrilled to see that Layton was jumping on the farmers market bandwagon. Plus, it doesn't start until 5, so the sun is starting to go down. There is tons of shade and did I mention food trucks! This even is SO family friendly! The kids had a blast. It wasn't too crowded so we didn't lose anyone, but the place was definitely hoppin'!
Feedback Rockin Gourmet Grilled Cheese was there, I've never tried them so I jumped in line. They said they will be here every Friday night so be sure to stop and check them out if you like cheese, because they put A LOT of cheese on that Texas toast!
I got the Pearl Ham (ham and cheese) and got the kids grilled cheese.
They come with chips and drinks.
They also have a 1/2 lbs burger stuffed with cheese. This is on my list to try next time.
And a pineapple full of pineapple ice creme. I don't remember the name of the food truck that had these but we had to try one!
Berdee was hungry (even though I fed her before we left home). You don't mess with a hungry 2 year old. So when she steals your cheetos and soda, sometimes its easier to just let her have it.
Free bounce houses!
They even had one for the littles
The biggest and best cotton candy spot was Wizard Floss by the bounce houses. $3 for a bag, $5 for a fresh spun cloud of goodness. We tried both. We vote fresh spun!
Molly (my Texas bestie) was visiting from Texas, so I had to show her how we do things here in Utah. She gave Layton Fest two thumbs up!
These cotton candy covered light sabers will be available this Friday July 22nd so you can use them in the Light Parade on the 23rd at 9:30. Deets HERE.
We saw these swords for $6-$8, but you can get them with cotton candy on them at The Wizard Floss cotton candy shop by the bounce houses for $6-$8. Ya, go for the FREE cotton candy!
Layton Fest starts at 5
